Legendas.net respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that are reported to our designated Copyright Agent, identified below.

Notice of Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on this site, you may notify our Copyright Agent by providing the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;
  3. Identification of the material that you claim is infringing and where it is located on the site;
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address;
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.

Counter-Notice

If you believe that material you posted was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice with our Copyright Agent by providing the following information:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled;
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material;
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the judicial district in which your address is located.

Repeat Infringers Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Legendas.net has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the site and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

Please note that under the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing or was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification may be subject to liability.
